aematic is the optimization and measurement layer for advertising on AI answer-engines, starting with OpenAI’s ChatGPT. As advertising opens up on AI assistants, advertisers need real tooling to plan, launch, optimize, and measure campaigns on a channel the native consoles barely support. aematic runs the full loop for the advertiser: research the account, plan and launch campaigns, manage bids, and measure outcomes. The product is live with paying customers.

The role

You will own the product surface customers touch: the dashboards, the plan-and-launch wizard, the bidding and measurement views, and the live streaming UI that shows our agents working in real time. Our frontend is React and TypeScript on Vite, backed by a FastAPI service. You will work across the stack, but your center of gravity is building an interface that makes a complex optimization engine feel simple. As an early hire you own whole features end to end.

What you will do

• Build and ship customer-facing features across the React/TypeScript frontend and the supporting backend endpoints.
• Design interfaces for campaign planning, bidding strategy, audiences, and measurement that non-technical advertisers can use confidently.
• Build the real-time, streaming experiences that surface the agent loop as it runs.
• Partner with design, backend, and ML engineers to take features from idea to production quickly.
• Care about performance, polish, and the details that make the product feel trustworthy.

What we are looking for

• 4+ years building production web applications, with strong React and TypeScript.
• Solid product sense; you make good interface decisions without a fully spec’d design.
• Comfort reaching into the backend (we use Python/FastAPI) to build the API a feature needs.
• Experience shipping complex, data-dense UIs, ideally including real-time or streaming interfaces.
• Speed and ownership in an early-stage team.

Nice to have

• Experience building dashboards or tooling for advertising, analytics, or other data-heavy domains.
• An eye for design and comfort working closely with a design system.
